Grafter
Write instead of scrolling.
A writing app that turns your words into screen time. Hit your writing goals and unlock the apps you love. Miss them, and distracting apps stay blocked.
Currently in beta on iOS. macOS, Web & Android coming soon.
How It Works
Step 1
Write
Open Grafter and write. Every word you type earns you screen time credits.
Step 2
Earn
Hit your word goal and unlock time on the apps you love — social media, games, whatever you choose.
Step 3
Focus
When credits run out, distracting apps are blocked. Your phone becomes a tool, not a trap.
A Writing Environment You'll Love
Grafter is built for writers who want to focus. No clutter, no distractions — just the tools you need.
Story Structure
Organize your work with a Story → Chapter → Scene hierarchy. Keep your narrative clean and navigable.
Distraction-Free Editor
Typewriter mode, focus mode, and dark mode. Just you and your words.
Write Anywhere
Start on your phone, continue on your Mac or in the browser. Your work syncs across all devices.
Ambient Sounds
Rain, café chatter, fireplace — choose a soundscape that gets you into the zone.
BetaReader Integration
When your draft is ready, sync it to BetaReader.io and get feedback from beta readers with one tap.
